Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

Your Home Screen layout, your app list and your snapshots stay on your PC. We keep only what's needed to run your account and your purchase.

Who we are

WiggleGrid makes the WiggleGrid app for Windows and runs wigglegrid.com. Questions about privacy go to support@wigglegrid.com.

What stays on your PC

The app reads your iPhone's Home Screen layout and the list of installed apps over the USB cable. It doesn't read your photos, messages, contacts or anything else on the phone. These are saved only on your PC, in your Windows user folder:

  • your layouts, snapshots, app list and app icons;
  • a log of each change the app made, used to check and undo it;
  • your sign-in session and, only if you tick "Remember password on this PC", your password. Both are kept in Windows Credential Manager, encrypted under your Windows account.

We never upload any of this. You can delete it at any time by removing the app's folder or the saved sign-in.

What we collect

  • Your account. Your email address and password (stored as a secure hash, never in readable form), your account ID, and when you signed up and last signed in.
  • Your purchase. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and Merchant of Record. They collect your name, email, billing address and payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive only the order number and whether it's paid or refunded, linked to your account. We never see your card number.
  • "Email me when it's supported." If you ask, we store your iPhone's model identifier (for example "iPhone17,1") and iOS version with your account, so we can email you.
  • Support emails. Whatever you choose to send us.
  • Connection details. When the app checks for updates or downloads the list of supported iPhones, it connects to our servers. Like any website, they see your IP address and basic request details, which our hosting providers may keep in short-lived logs. The compatibility check downloads the full list; nothing about your iPhone is sent.

Website analytics (you can turn it off)

This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons are useful. To turn it off, click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and choose Turn off. Google Analytics then isn't loaded and its cookies are deleted. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stays off unless you turn it on.

  • What it records: pages you view, the site or campaign link that brought you here, your browser, device type and approximate location (country or city, worked out by Google from your IP address), and a few clicks on this site: download buttons, guide buttons, which FAQ questions you open, and the demo animation controls.
  • What it doesn't: we never send your email address, name, account details, iPhone details or anything you type. Advertising features are off: consent for ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization is always denied.
  • Cookies: Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_… to tell repeat visits apart. Turning analytics off deletes them.
  • Retention: Google keeps event-level data for 2 months; reports are aggregated.

The WiggleGrid app for Windows doesn't use Google Analytics or any other analytics. Google processes this data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

What we don't do

  • No analytics, tracking or ads in the app. No ads on this website, and you can turn its analytics off at any time.
  • We don't sell or share your information for advertising.
  • We never ask for your Apple ID password, and the app doesn't use iCloud.

How we use it

To run your account, unlock your purchase on your iPhones, send account emails (confirming your address, resetting your password), send the "now supported" email you asked for, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and tax obligations.

Who processes it for us

  • Supabase stores accounts and sends account emails.
  • Lemon Squeezy takes payments and handles taxes, receipts and refunds.
  • Our website host serves this site and app updates.
  • Google provides Google Analytics for this website, unless you turn it off.

They may process data in the United States and other countries, and only on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Account data, purchase status and notification requests are kept until you delete your account. We may keep purchase records longer where tax or accounting law requires it. Lemon Squeezy keeps its own order records.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or delete your account, by emailing support@wigglegrid.com from the address on your account. Deleting your account removes it, your purchase unlock and your notification requests from our systems. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California) the law gives you these rights; we honor them for everyone. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

WiggleGrid isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Security

Connections to our servers are encrypted, account data is protected so each account can read only its own records, and secret server keys never ship inside the app. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email.
